Deon de Lange
Deon has been involved in Ceramics for more than 25 years, 15 of which he ran his own commercial factory, supplying high-end stores locally and abroad. His work was regularly featured in glossy and interior magazines and used for styling in many cookbooks. Clients include South African and international celebrities and departmental stores in Europe and the USA.
Deon received various awards for his work, including 'Gift of the Year' at Sarcda International and the Elle Decoration WOW award. He was also chosen as an IKON of South African craft by the Department of Trade and Industry in 2009.
He is currently working on studio ceramics and is also editor of the online Ceramics magazine INTO Ceramics. Deon also runs independent workshops sharing his knowledge of ceramics with everyone.
