I graduated with a Fine Arts (graphic design) degree in 1982 and subsequently worked as an illustrator and book designer before starting a family.
In 2010 I started pottery lessons under the guidance of Kim Sacks.
I am currently a student of John Shirley.
I work exclusively in porcelain and my current work explores the possibilities of agate ware.
I received the Melanie Robinson award for my work in porcelain at the CSA Guateng Regional exhibition in 2015 and in 2018.
My inspiration is varied, from ancient cultures and artifacts to the modern porcelain masters.
I seek to impart a quiet, classic and ethereal beauty to my work. I am intrigued by the infinite possibilities of this medium and captivated by its transformative qualities.
