Paul de Jongh
I work alongside my wife, Nina Shand, from our home and pottery studio in McGregor, a quaint village on `the road to nowhere’.  Visitors to our pottery are treated to a visual feast of work including:
High temperature, wood-fired, salt glaze porcelain and stoneware - wood-fired terracotta - electric-fired domestic ware
- sculptural and decorative raku pieces
We like engaging in all the pottery mediums and on each visit you can expect to find new work, new effects and lots of new ideas! We are happy to demonstrate our craft and our working pottery is open to view. Wood-firing workshops are given, using the three wood-fired kilns, to people wanting to experience this ancient and time-honoured process.
There is a hand-made creation for every taste and pocket and whether you’re interested in buying or just curious, a trip to McGregor is incomplete without a visit to Millstone Pottery.
We are open 7 days a week but to avoid disappointment it is suggested you phone before visiting. Most of the work is sold from the studio. Commissions are undertaken using the full spectrum of clay and glazes.
